MAURICIO PARADA

Mauricio is a 14-year old Chilean kart driver who first got behind the wheel at the age of nine. He was born in Chile but moved to the US when he was only four. Mauricio has loved motorsports for as long as he can remember and it has grown into his biggest passion. His first karting lesson was in a rental kart at the age of nine at his local track Pats Acres in Canby, OR. He was instantly hooked and from that point forward he knew racing is what he wanted to do. 2 months later he got his first race kart and began competing regionally. Since then Mauricio has competed in a variety of both regional and national series & events. Mauricios goal is to reach IndyCar or IMSA and become the first Chilean champion in IndyCar and the first Chilean overall winner at the Rolex 24.
